The International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) is now accepting submissions for its 7th European Congress, to be hosted by Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). IASSIDD welcomes submissions for oral presentations, posters, roundtables, and workshops.

Target Group

The congress welcomes researchers, self-advocates, professionals, family members, and other stakeholders engaged in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Theme: “Real.time – Shaping the Future Together”

The theme invites exploration of temporality, reality, and digitality – how we experience and shape the present moment and envision future possibilities. The goal is to advance inclusion through approaches that are scientifically grounded, practically experienced, and sustainably embedded in society.

IASSIDD

The International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) is the first and only worldwide group dedicated to the scientific study of intellectual disability. Founded in 1964 as the International Association for the Scientific Study of Mental Deficiency, IASSIDD is an international, interdisciplinary and scientific non-governmental organization which promotes worldwide research and exchange of information on intellectual disabilities.
