BEM – in English please!
The company integration management (German: Betriebliches Eingliederungsmanagement [BEM]) has been regulated by law since 2004 in §167 (2) SGB IX (book 9 of the Social Code). It must be offered to every employee who has been on sick leave for more than six weeks within the past 12 months.
Germany plays a pioneering role in company reintegration. Due to globalization, companies in Germany are becoming increasingly multilingual. We believe that we see an important gap in the knowledge landscape, especially for English speaking employees, that we would like to fill in.
