Aus der Veranstaltungswerbung:

"Dear Colleagues,

You are warmly invited to the 18th Congress of the European Forum for Research in Rehabilitation (EFRR), which will be held in Budapest, Hungary between 28-31 August 2025.

The history of the EFRR goes back to 1983, when the first EFRR meeting was held in Edinburgh. We now are preparing for the 18th Congress in Budapest. This will be the second congress of the EFRR in this beautiful city, after the highly successful meeting in 2007. The venue will be the same hotel, by the beautiful River Danube, opposite Margaret Island. The connection between the Hungarian rehabilitation field and the EFRR is very old: the EFRR Council has had active Hungarian members since the 1990s.

The EFRR, as its name suggests, aims to promote research and its implementation in rehabilitation. It is a multidisciplinary organisation with a holistic perspective on rehabilitation: in addition to rehabilitation medicine, it welcomes research on psychosocial aspects of rehabilitation, including return to work, social rehabilitation, universal design. For this reason, the main topics of this congress will also cover the entire biopsychosocial spectrum of rehabilitation research. Medical doctors, allied health and other health care professionals, vocational rehabilitation experts, architects and other professionals working within the field of rehabilitation are all welcome.

The organisers are committed to providing a high standard, following the track record of previous EFRR conferences. When visiting Budapest, you will also have wonderful opportunities to see this beautiful and impressive, historic city. As it is situated right in the heart of Europe, it is easy to travel to Budapest.

We wish you a pleasant and productive conference in Budapest, at the last weekend of August 2025.

You are welcome with colleagues, friends and family members!"
